ULeadsBot
ULeadsBot reads a website when a ULeads user asks for an audit of it — a report on its speed, mobile layout, search basics and how easy it is to get in touch, usually sent to the business itself. It identifies itself as Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; ULeadsBot/1.0; +https://uleads.io/bot).
What does it read?
- robots.txt first — and it follows it.
- The home page and at most 19 more pages linked from it, three requests at a time, HTML only.
- A light check of links it found, to report broken ones.
- The sitemap, if there is one.
Nothing behind a login, no forms submitted, no vulnerability scanning. A site audited in the last 30 days is not read again — the earlier measurements are reused.
How do I block it?
Add this to your robots.txt and ULeadsBot will not read your site:
User-agent: ULeadsBot Disallow: /
Blocking it doesn't affect Google or anyone else. If you received a report and don't want to be contacted, press “Don't contact me” on the report — no ULeads user will be able to message you through ULeads after that.
