About ULeads

ULeads is a web app for people who sell websites, local SEO and marketing to small businesses. It searches Google Maps by city and trade, flags the businesses whose online presence is weak — no website, few photos, few reviews, a low rating — and ranks them by a 0–100 Lead Score, so you know who to call first.

Why does ULeads exist?

A plumber with no website, three photos and a 3.4 rating is not a bad business. It is a business someone can help — and for a web designer or a small agency, it is the most natural client there is. The trouble is finding them. Google Maps ranks the most established businesses first, so scrolling a city's results by hand mostly shows you companies that already have everything.

We measured it: across 248 businesses from thirteen searches, about one in nine had no website, and four of the thirteen searches had none in their first twenty results. ULeads exists to do the digging — page after page, area by area — and to put the businesses worth a call at the top. The full measurement is in our first guide.

How does it work?

You type a town and a trade. ULeads looks the market up on Google Maps from its servers, keeps going past the first page until it has found real prospects, and scores each business from what its listing shows. You save the ones worth contacting to a simple pipeline, add notes, and on paid plans export them to CSV or Excel. Results are reused for anyone who runs the same search within 30 days, which keeps prices low. ULeads is not affiliated with Google.

What will ULeads not do?

  • Collect personal email addresses or data about private individuals — only what businesses publish.
  • Send messages on your behalf. You decide whom to contact and how.
  • Promise you clients. It finds and ranks prospects; the conversation is yours.

What do we hold ourselves to?

Measured, not claimed

Numbers on this site come from searches we ran, with the sample size next to them. When something is an example or an estimate, it says so.

No invented proof

No made-up testimonials, ratings or case studies. When there are real reviews from customers, they will be shown with their names and permission.

The score is public

Lead Score is a short points table, published on the home page. You can check every score by hand.

Pay for what you use, when you choose

One free search a month, then a month at a time. Nothing renews behind your back.

Who writes the guides?

The guides are written by the ULeads team — the people who build the product — from searches we run and the questions customers ask. Corrections are welcome at [email protected].
