How to find businesses without a website in 3 steps
From a city to a ranked list of prospects in minutes.
- 01
Pick a city and a niche
Type a town and a trade — plumbers in Bergamo, barbers in Ostrava. Smaller towns and hands-on trades hold the most businesses without a website.
- 02
Let the search dig past page one
Google Maps ranks the most established businesses first. ULeads keeps going, page after page and area by area, until it has found real prospects.
- 03
Contact the best ones first
Every business is ranked by Lead Score. Save the ones worth a call to your pipeline, add notes and track who you have contacted.
Lead Score: which local businesses to contact first
Every business starts at 20 points and gains points for each weakness its Google Maps listing shows. A listed phone adds points too — not because it is a weakness, but because it means you can reach the owner. A business only counts as a lead if it has at least one real weakness.
| Signal on the listing | Points |
|---|---|
| Every business starts at | 20 |
| No website | +40 |
| Fewer than 5 photos | +15 |
| Fewer than 20 reviews | +15 |
| Rating below 4.0 | +10 |
| Phone number listed — reachability, not a weakness | +10 |

Frequently asked questions
Can I find businesses without a website?
Yes — that's the core use case. ULeads checks every business it finds for a website and lets you show only the ones without one. In our own measurement, about 11% of the businesses in a typical Google Maps result had no website, so it pays to search smaller towns and trades.
Where does the data come from?
From Google Maps listings — the information businesses publish about themselves: name, category, address, phone, website, rating, reviews and photos. ULeads looks them up on its servers when you search. ULeads is not affiliated with Google.
What is Lead Score?
A 0–100 score built from the listing. Every business starts at 20; no website adds 40, fewer than 5 photos adds 15, fewer than 20 reviews adds 15, a rating below 4.0 adds 10 and a listed phone number adds 10. A higher score means a weaker online presence — more you can offer — and a way to reach the owner.
How many companies do I get per search?
A search keeps pulling results until it has enough real prospects, so a thin market returns more than a saturated one — typically 20 to 80 businesses, of which about a quarter usually look worth approaching. You can reveal more with Load more; each extra page counts as one search.
Can I export leads?
On paid plans, yes: search results and your saved leads export to CSV or Excel (XLSX) with names, phones, addresses, website status, Lead Score and the reason each business is a lead. The Free plan does not include exports — you can still save leads to your pipeline and work them from there.
Is this a Google Maps scraper?
No. ULeads does not scrape Google Maps pages. Listings are requested on our servers through Google's official access to Maps data, within usage limits, and nothing runs in your browser.
Which businesses can I search for?
Any local category — plumbers, auto repair, barbers, beauty salons, cleaners, cafes, dentists, gyms and many more — by city, optionally narrowed by country, district or keyword. Trades in smaller towns usually have the most businesses without a website.
How do I turn these businesses into clients?
Lead with one specific, true observation about the business — a strong rating and no way to book online, say — rather than a generic offer to build a website. Phone usually reaches a local owner faster than email.
